Job Description

Powernet are a B2B ISP and Data Comms provider, incorporated 16 years ago making them one of the first ISPs in the country. They have a UK wide customer base and primarily provide wide area networks, data comms, Internet connectivity, hosting and managed services.

Powernet have recently become a part of the Timico Technology Group, based in Newark-Upon-Trent. Timico have grown rapidly since being founded in 2004. With ambitions of becoming a £100 million company within the next five years, Timico are fast becoming the UKs premier business focused ISP. To support Powernet's ambitious growth plans we are looking for two Field Sales representatives whose role will be to drive new business development. These positions will be based from the Milton Keynes HQ.

The candidates will be expected to generate leads and attend appointments, support will be given in terms of Pre-Sales and marketing campaigns but the emphasis will be on the individual to grow and manage their own pipeline, ultimately converting this pipeline in to sales. This is a sales role and so you will have an associated monthly target with a generous, un-capped, commission package to reward success.

Product and systems training will be provided. Goldmine experience would be advantageous.

Key Attributes

• Experience in Data comms, ISP services, Cisco and Managed Services are a considerable advantage
• Good base technical knowledge of associated products, leased lines, Cisco, DSL, Fortinet etc
• Self motivated, driven, target led individual
• Presentable appearance with good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Driving license

Powernet are situated in central Milton Keynes (five minutes walk from the shops) and a few minutes from the train station. Powernet staff all get free car parking permits, or space in a nearby secure bicycle storage facility. Powernet staff also recieve private health care and travel insurance that also covers immediate family. Staff are also eligible for a profit related bonus scheme once they have been with Powernet for 12 months.
